This template is used to estimate any type of construction works. Ideal for contractors and construction companies.

This template is an excel file with 4 different sheets: Tender Summary, Labor-Material, Subcontractors, and Tag sheet.

Tender Summary Sheet

  This is the main sheet where you insert the margins for indirect costs, labor, material, and subcontractors. This sheet allows you to target a different margin for each category. You can populate all your indirect costs coming from project structure such as project manager, admin, drafter, supervisors, etc. Also, It will allow you to insert all your project running costs such as vehicles, site office, company charge, insurances, storage, and more.

All costs related to labor, materials, and subcontractors are filled in other sheets and automatically shown in the Tender Sheet.

Total Project Cost, total Project Sale, Project Margin, and margin % are shown at the bottom. You will also have two additional cells to introduce a contingency allowance and provisional sums manually, which are automatically added to the final Project Sale Value.

Labor-Material Sheet

You will be required to introduce units, material unit cost, labor hours per unit, and labor hour cost rate. Material total cost, total hours, total labor cost, material sales, labor sales, and total sales per item will be automatically calculated.

Total material cost, total labor cost, and total material sales, total labor sales are shown at the bottom of this sheet. These values will be automatically transferred to the main Tender Sheet.

Subcontractors Sheet 

A basic sheet to introduce the cost of all the jobs you are planning to subcontract. It will calculate the selling rate based on the margin you have introduced in the tender sheet. All totals will be automatically transferred to the main Tender Sheet.

Tag sheet Sheet

This sheet will allow you to keep track of all the exclusions and comments you want to highlight to the client while estimating. The sheet can be exported and added to your final quote.
